Changes to Hunter United Visa Debit Cards

If you have a current Hunter United Visa Debit Card, you will receive a new IMB Bank Visa Debit Card. For your security, your PIN will arrive separately.

You will also receive an SMS asking you to activate your card. Once you have received the card, respond ‘yes’ to the SMS and your card will be activated.

If you do not have a mobile number on your account, you can visit a branch or call the helpline on 1800 370 773 to activate your new Visa card.

Please ensure you have activated your new card by 22 May (before the switch over begins).

IMPORTANT:

• All Hunter United Visa Debit cards will expire on 22 May 2021.
• Please activate your new card before 22 May to ensure you continue to have uninterrupted access to your money.
• If you have any regular payments set up from your Hunter United Visa Debit Card you will need to update them to link to your new IMB Bank Visa Debit card number or new BSB and account number to ensure your payments continue to be processed after 22 May (and are not dishonoured or incur any third-party fees). Please refer to this list of example payments that may be linked to your card number.
• Do not update any payments that will be made prior to 22 May as your new accounts and cards will not be active until then.

If you would like to change the PIN you receive from IMB Bank, you can do this via IMB Internet Banking, from 22 May.
