Financial Hardship

Hunter United is committed to assisting customers in times of financial hardship.

At Hunter United, we understand that sometimes your financial situation may change, and you may have temporary difficulties making your loan repayments to us. This may be because of:

  • illness;
  • temporary unemployment;
  • relationship breakdown; or
  • other similar unforeseen circumstances.

If you’re having trouble making your loan repayments, we encourage you to contact us as soon as possible.

Hardship Assistance

If your financial situation has changed, you can apply for Hardship Assistance – a temporary change to your loan repayments to give you a chance to get back on your feet financially.

We will assess your circumstances and if it’s appropriate, we may be able to help by, for example, providing a temporary reduction or deferral of your repayments.

We’re here to help!

If you’d like to talk to us about any trouble you may be having making your loan repayments, or simply to discuss your options, you can call into your local branch or call us on (02) 4941 3888, 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday and 9am – 12pm on Saturdays or by emailing us at collections@huecu.com.au.
