SMS Alerts

Our SMS Alerts Service gives you greater control and security over your banking. SMS Alerts can quickly inform you of activity on your accounts…as it happens.

By choosing to receive SMS Alerts you could:

  • Avoid potential fees and charges
  • Increase control over your accounts

Your SMS Alerts can be setup and modified using your internet banking service. You can choose to receive SMS Alerts when any of the following activities occur on your accounts:

  • Direct Debit is dishonoured  
  • Cheque is dishonoured
  • Direct Credit is received
  • Funds have been transferred
  • High value transaction has occurred
  • Account has dropped below a specified balance
  • Missed a loan repayment

Is there a fee?

Naturally you’ll need an active mobile phone to receive the SMS Alerts and you will be charged 20c for each SMS Alert sent to your mobile. The SMS Alert charge will be automatically deducted from your account at the end of each month.
