Important Information Update on Proposed Merger

As you may recall, in July we announced that we were examining a merger opportunity with IMB Bank which would offer an expanded range of products and services to Hunter United members and protect our customer-owned way of banking. With the required regulatory approvals in place, it’s now time for our members to vote on the proposed merger.

As a valued member of Hunter United, this week you will be receiving in the post a Member Information Pack detailing the proposed merger and how to lodge your vote.

The Member Information Pack contains:

• Message from the Chair of the Hunter United Board of Directors
• Notice of Special General Meeting (SGM) - to be held at 5.30pm on 5 March 2020 at our head office location,130 Lambton Road Broadmeadow
• Member Information Document
• Proxy Voting Form and reply-paid envelope

We understand you may have questions regarding the proposed merger. To assist in answering them we have compiled a set of FAQs which can be found here. We will also be holding a Hunter United information night at 5.30pm on 20 February 2020 at our head office location,130 Lambton Road Broadmeadow.
