Why do my account numbers need to change?

Hunter United’s account numbers, e.g., S01, L01 are unlike the account numbers used by other financial institutions, which are typically 9 digit numbers. All Hunter United account numbers will need to be changed to 9 digital accounts to become compatible with IMB’s systems.

IMB account numbers start with 200 and are followed by 6 extra digits to create a unique account number for every IMB member:
             e.g. 200-XXX-XXX

Until integration is complete, you should continue to use your Hunter United member number and account number when transferring funds. After integration, you will only need to use the IMB account number to transfer funds (the member/client number will no longer be needed to identify the account).
