Why is Hunter United switching everything over to IMB Bank?

Hunter United and IMB Bank have been working on merging their businesses since May 2020.

All the merger integration work will come to a close on 21 May 2021 when Hunter United migrates its member data and accounts over to IMB and customer service and all banking operations are switched to IMB systems. The ‘switch over period’ will commence at 3pm Friday 21 May and be complete at 8am Saturday 22 May.

Systems integration is the last step in merging our two organisations to provide you with access to the full range of merger benefits1, including:

  • An enhanced digital banking experience through IMB’s Mobile Banking App and Internet Banking
  • Extended operating hours with customer support available until 8pm on weekdays
  • A full suite of mobile wallet providers including Apple Pay1 and Google Pay1
  • Anytime account opening and loan applications through IMB’s website
  • Improved banking security with IMB’s transactional fraud detection systems
  • Highly competitive small business banking products and services
  • An expanded product range including fixed home loans, dedicated youth products and DIY Super accounts
