The Australian Prudential Regulatory Authority (APRA), has officially approved the date for our merger with IMB Bank, for 1 May 2020.

From this date, members can continue to perform their banking with us in the same ways as they do now, including using the same member numbers, same website/internet banking, same payment services and no changes to direct debits.

From May 1, members will start to receive merger-related benefits including the immediate removal of most transaction fees and account keeping fees, along with even better rates on variable loans (both home and personal), and term deposits. For a full list of the merger-related benefits please follow this link.

Over the next 6-9 months we will be working on integrating our banking systems with IMB. When systems integration is complete, members of Hunter United will then be able to access all IMB bank channels including branches and online services for their Hunter United products as well as a wider array of products from IMB including Mobile Payments such as Apple Pay, Google Pay, Android, Garmin Pay, Fitbit Pay.

We will continue to provide updates regarding the merger process and the release of benefits to members during the months ahead.
