If you are a Hunter United member affected by the coronavirus pandemic, please know financial assistance may be available to help you.

 

Examples of financial assistance options we can provide include:

  • waiving of redraw and dishonor fees on applicable accounts
  • access to term deposit funds without impacting on the interest rate payable
  • ability to make changes to scheduled loan repayments
  • access to repayment holidays

 

 

Who Can Apply?

All individual and small business customers of Hunter United experiencing financial hardship are eligible to apply for Financial Hardship Assistance.

In assessing an application for financial hardship, consideration will be given to the applicant’s financial circumstances, reasons for experiencing financial hardship, and future prospects. Financial hardship assistance will be considered for eligible customers, however it may not be provided to all applicants. 

Customers may be reasonably unable to meet repayments for a number of reasons that may include (but are not limited to):

  • unemployment;
  • illness/ medical expenses;
  • relationship breakdown;
  • reduced income; and
  • business failure
